Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DevArcade (devarcade.in), operated by Animesh Mondal ("we", "us"), collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and if you continue with Google, your name and a Google account identifier. If you sign up with email, your password is handled by Firebase Authentication and stored only as a secure hash; we never see it. Your username is derived from your email address.
• Learning progress: enrolled courses, lessons completed, quiz and problem results, XP, streaks, badges, settings, your avatar choice, and the code you write in exercises.
• Subscription details: your plan, its status, renewal date and the Razorpay subscription identifier. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we never receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we do not sell your data.

How we use it

• To sign you in (including verification and password reset emails), save your progress to your account and keep it in step across your devices.
• To provide DevArcade Pro to subscribers and manage billing, renewals and cancellations.
• To answer your messages and keep the service secure.

Where it is stored and who processes it

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore, data stored in India, asia-south1): your account and progress.
• Razorpay: payments and subscriptions, under Razorpay's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: hosting of the website and billing endpoints.

Your browser also keeps a copy of your progress and lessons in its own storage (IndexedDB and local storage) so the app starts quickly. We do not use cookies for tracking.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and progress while your account exists. Billing records may be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and progress, by writing to [email protected] from the email address you sign in with. We respond within 30 days. Cancel any active subscription before deleting your account.

Children

DevArcade is not directed at children under 13. Users under 18 should use it with a parent or guardian's consent.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
